All PEQNE products are designed in Slovakia.
Our waffle fabrics are knitted in a small workshop in northern Portugal. They are then sewn into clothing in a nearby workshop with 35 years of experience. Some fabric is sent to Slovakia, where our blankets and comforters are handmade locally.
Our retro tights are made in an innovative family workshop in Slovakia using combed cotton from Portugal and certified, colourfast dyes from Switzerland.
GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard, an internationally recognised standard for organic textiles.
Certification covers the production chain, from growing cotton to processing, sewing, packaging and trading. It sets environmental and social requirements, including restrictions on chemicals, wastewater treatment, working conditions and fair pay.
Using certified fabric alone does not mean the finished product is GOTS certified. When a brand claims GOTS certification, check the certificate number and the scope of the certification.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 tests textiles and their components for harmful substances.
PEQNE does not currently use an OEKO-TEX® certificate or label for its finished products. The safety of our finished products is supported by independent VUTCH testing under European REACH legislation.
Certification must cover the complete product, not just one fabric or component. Check the certificate number and the testing institute when assessing a certification claim. You can find our supporting documents on the Certificates page.
A size guide is available next to the size selector on each product page. It includes the measurements you need.
Our clothing is designed to grow with your child. If you are between two sizes, we recommend the larger one. Our products are gently prewashed and preshrunk.
If the fit is not right, we will be happy to help with an exchange. See our size guide or contact us.
We make our clothing to last and be passed on. We use quality natural materials and stable colours, and prewash and preshrink garments during production.
Our waffle knit is elastic and durable. It can stretch slightly during wear and return to its original shape after washing.

Orders are shipped from our EU warehouse. Delivery within the European Union usually takes 2-5 business days.
Shipping costs €4.90 and is free for orders over €40.

You can pay using VISA, Mastercard or AMEX debit and credit cards, PayPal or Apple Pay.
We do not currently offer personal collection. If this changes, we will let you know.
For each order, we automatically calculate the carbon footprint created by your delivery and offset these emissions back to nature.
We do this by supporting projects for planting, restoring, and protecting forests, direct air carbon capture, renewable energy, etc. We cover all costs for carbon-neutral shipping.
The calculation is based on the shipping distance from us to you, the weight of the package, and the means of transport.
You can return or exchange unworn, unwashed items with their original labels within 30 days.

The high cotton content makes our products soft, breathable and comfortable for children with sensitive or dry skin. We choose materials and dyes with everyday comfort in mind, so clothing feels pleasant at home, at nursery and outdoors.
Our products are mainly cotton, with other fibres such as elastane or polyamide added for stretch, comfort and durability. The exact composition is listed on each product page.
The materials are breathable and comfortable for everyday wear. Their high cotton content helps children stay comfortable throughout the day.
